Mulenga Hope Foundation International (MHFI) proudly pioneered the Precision Sports Academy (PSA) in Zambia --
a transformative sports program using soccer and baseball to train, equip, mentor, and empower young boys and girls from communities facing extreme poverty. Through PSA, we go beyond sports. We instill essential life skills such as respect, communication, and teamwork — qualities that are shaping our participants into confident, disciplined individuals both on and off the field. 🌍 Learn more: www.precisionsportsacademy.com

Support a Program That’s Changing Lives Through Sport and Education
At Precision Sports Academy (PSA) — a project of Mulenga Hope Foundation International (MHFI) — we are transforming the lives of youth from some of Zambia’s most disadvantaged communities. Through the power of soccer and baseball, our academy mentors' boys and girls aged 8 to 20, helping them grow not only as athletes but as respectful, responsible, and empowered individuals. Many of our players come from troubled backgrounds, yet through consistent support, they’re learning to integrate peacefully with others, improve their behavior, and excel both on the field and in school. We emphasize the importance of education and regularly follow up on each student’s academic progress. Our goal is simple but powerful: to help every child realize their God-given potential and feel valued — no matter where they come from. In many parts of Africa, talented young athletes often see education as optional. At PSA, we’re working to break that mindset. We teach our players to balance sports with academics, showing them that both are essential tools for building a successful future. We’re already seeing the results. Our senior boys' and girls' soccer teams are gaining recognition through the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) — with the boys competing in Division 4 and the girls in Division 5. More importantly, some of our players are reaching incredible heights.
🎓 Gloire Kubuntu, Vickson Mwale, and Kalebo Kubuntu — all trained at PSA — have gone on to pursue higher education in Sweden and Malaysia, earning sports scholarships and playing soccer for their colleges. These young men adjusted well, made us proud, and proved that with the right support, talent can open doors around the world. Our program is open to all — no child is turned away — and we rely on the dedication of our hardworking coaches, volunteers, and supporters to make it all possible.
✨ But we can’t do it alone.
Your support can help us expand our reach, improve our facilities, and fund more life-changing opportunities for these incredible kids. Whether through donations, sponsorships, or spreading the word, you can be part of this movement that’s giving hope, building futures, and changing lives.

Girls' Empowerment Through Sport: At Precision Sports Academy (PSA), sports serve as more than just games — they’re a powerful platform for empowering girls and young women. Our fields have become safe spaces where girls can open up, build friendships, and learn critical life skills that will serve them well into adulthood.
Led by experienced female coaches, our girls’ program includes:
- Teenage pregnancy prevention education
- HIV/AIDS awareness through activity-based learning
- Skill-building workshops
- Peer-led community outreach
- Fair-play sports training
When a girl participates in sport, she transforms how she sees herself — and the world around her.
New Programs in Development: We're excited to be expanding into basketball, volleyball, and netball — giving even more children, especially girls, a chance to get involved.
🙏 We are actively praying and looking for donors and partners to help launch these programs and provide equipment, coaching, and safe training spaces.
Challenges We Face: Unlike most sports academies in Zambia, PSA charges no fees. Our mission is to provide free access to sports training for underprivileged children, and we stand by that commitment.
However, this places a heavy financial burden on Mulenga Hope Foundation International (MHFI). With no income from participants, we rely entirely on donors and partners to fund our operations — equipment, uniforms, coaching stipends, travel costs, and more.
Our programs attract youth from high-need communities including:
- Lusaka: Kamanga, Mutendere, Kaunda Square
- Copperbelt: Kansuswa, Mufulira
- Future Expansion: Mindolo-Chachacha in Kitwe
Soup Kitchen: Nourishing Hope In 2012, our founder Gabriel Mwamba started a soup kitchen at the academy — a feeding program to provide children with a meal before training. Many of our players arrive hungry, unable to afford even a basic meal.
At first, we asked children to be honest about whether they had eaten. But many, driven by their love for the game, lied just to be allowed to play. Eventually, we began noticing signs of hunger: kids collapsing, becoming irritable, or struggling to focus during training.
Once we began offering meals regularly, we saw a dramatic improvement in behavior, energy, and overall performance. However, due to the rising cost of food and economic challenges in Zambia, we can no longer feed all players consistently.
Today, we can only serve meals occasionally, when funding allows.
🤝 We need partners and sponsors to help us bring back regular feeding — because no child should have to choose between hunger and the game they love.
“Sport has the power to change the world... It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.”
— Nelson Mandela

What Is Our Greatest Dream Right Now? At Mulenga Hope Foundation International (MHFI), our deepest and most urgent dream is to build a permanent home — an orphanage — for the children in our care. Many of them are currently living in temporary shelters, lacking stability, safety, and the comfort of a place to truly call home.
This dream goes far beyond a roof over their heads. Our vision includes:
- A loving and secure orphanage
- A skill training center to equip youth for life
- A dedicated soccer field where they can play, heal, and grow
🙏 Your support can help make this dream a reality.
Together, we can give these children the foundation they need to grow, thrive, and build better futures
Why Orphanages Matter- There are nearly 24 million orphans worldwide, and the number continues to rise. In Zambia alone, over 1.5 million children have been orphaned. Many are homeless, abandoned, or neglected — left to survive on their own without guidance or hope.
At MHFI, we want to give these children a second chance at life — to raise them with dignity and honor and help them realize they are not forgotten. They are loved, seen, and full of potential.
What We’ve Built So Far✅ 2020: Community Center / Church Building (Completed)In 2020, we completed our first construction project — a multi-purpose community center and church in Chachacha. This building continues to be a lifeline for the local community, serving as:
- A space for after-school programs
- A hub for mental health training
- A place to offer meals, shelter, and daily essentials
- A site for youth activities, community meetings, and spiritual guidance
🏗️ 2021: Life Skills Training Center (Under Construction- Foundation done) Our second project — a Church & Life Skills Center — is currently under construction and praying for funds to come in. This facility will provide:
- Basic vocational skills training such as:
- Welding
- Tailoring
- Carpentry & joinery
- Small business skills (farming, goat/chicken raising)
- Life skills including:
- Critical thinking & problem-solving
- Communication & collaboration
- Personal and social responsibility
We Need You to Help Us Finish the Dream- This dream is urgent. The need is real. The children are waiting.
We are not just building structures — we are building futures, hope, and a safe place to belong. With your help, we can break the cycle of poverty, abandonment, and despair — and replace it with love, opportunity, and a future full of promise.
🙏 Please consider partnering with us — through financial support, sharing our story, or helping us connect with others who can help.
Together, we can create a place where orphans become family, the vulnerable become empowered, and broken dreams are rebuilt — one life at a time.
